Rachel gives 2-d his pain killers. Tattoos/piercings and other notable features: 8-ball fractured eyes due to several accidents. In some pictures, he seems to have tattoos on his arms; a '23' on his left arm, and 'K.F.C.' on his right. Trademark look: Azure-colored hair (can look different; sometimes it is purple depending on the style/animator) and high-pitched voice. Eye color: Black (2 dents as his eyes causing 8-Ball Fractures)In the mug shots and various other pictures his eyes are white. Height: 6 feet, 2 inches Personality: Innocent, trusting, not terribly bright, certainly accident-prone, and irresponsible. He suffers from migraines and because of the fact that his mother was a nurse when he was younger, he was given access to vast amounts of painkillers to stop his headaches. After the numerous beatings from murdoc, these began to get worse and so he became addicted to painkillers. Nickname(s): 2-D is his nickname, which refers to the dents on his head obtained from two vehicular accidents involving Murdoc's car; Stu-Pot (short-form of his given name, Stuart Pot) Hobbies/outside interests: Likes playing video games (has a particular fondness for widescreen Pong) and watching zombie films and Napoleon Dynamite. Crushes: He has said in interviews that he likes Aiofe Pucchio! | Artist Biography 2D (or 2-D, both spellings are used in official releases)'s real name is Stuart Pot, and his nickname before he was in the band was Stu-Pot. His previous family name was 'Tusspot,' but it was officially shortened to just 'Pot.' He was born and raised in Hertfordshire, England but moved to Crawley, West Sussex, because of a lawsuit that was being brought against him by his classical piano teacher Ivana Abramovitch for breaking her hand [source: Gorillaz XFM Takeover]. As revealed in the official band biography number one (see the band section) he used to work in Uncle Norm's organ emporium before he was famous, and it was there that he suffered an injury when Murdoc ram-raided the shop in an attempt to steal equipment to form his new band. This left one dent on his head, and left him in a deep catatonic state. As part of Murdoc's sentence for the attempted robbery he had to care for Stu-Pot for a certain amount of time, and during this time he injured Stu-Pot again, giving him another dent on the head (hence the name 2-D, short for 'two dents'). The injuries also fractured his eyeballs, and pushed them inward into his head (hence the black eyes). However this second injury brought him out of his state of paralysis, but definitely affected his psychology, in that it made him (even?) more vacant. He also gets terrible headaches, probably related to the injuries, and is most likely addicted to painkillers because of this. In the Gorillaz he sings lead vocals and plays keyboards. 2-D used to go out with Rachel Stevens (of S Club7 fame) for a short while, but Murdoc kept trying to hit on Rachel and in the end it broke them up [source: Celebrity Take Down DVD]. Rachel Stevens wasn't the only girl that Murdoc drove away from 2D. Paula, who used to be in the Gorilla(their band name was Gorilla after Paula left Kong and after Noodle came) was 2D's girlfriend for a time, and she left the band shortly after this photo was taken, due to 'a rather sticky incident involving Murdoc and her in the studio toilets(stall 3 infact) (resulting in Russel punching Murdoc in the face so hard that he broke his nose in about 5 places)' [source: Dr.Wurzel's website]. When 2-D first went to the US in Summer 2001 he met Adam Yauch from the Beastie Boys in New York and was influenced to start promoting the 'Free Tibet' campaign (wearing a 'Free Tibet' tshirt at The Brits, and joining silent protests outside the Chinese embassy in London, redecorated his room). 2D apparently [according to the Noodle blast] messed around with a lot of girls during his time off. The start of Phase Two sees him wielding knives and flicking cigarettes in interviews, whilst using a number of swearwords to describe entries in the 'Search For A Star' contest... a new direction for the previously dopey 2D? Waouh! 2D is beautiful! If it's true than his mother work in the hospital and than 2D is addict of the analgesics, then Murdoc realy did hurt him even if he had lot of lucky. However, 2D sing good, he 's nice and he love Murdoc Niccals, even if he tried many histories of love with girls, particularly with Noodle.
He understood why Murdoc stole his girlfriends because Muds said him "I love you" when 2D ask him "Why are you like that with me?". Since this day, they live happy togever on Plastic Beach and they are isolated because the other group members looked what they were doing in the 2D 's room then their first sex tape began in Kong Studio <<we can to hear this moment in a video on You Tube>>. 2D has too a dream: become actor and do a movie with him in the main role. Then, on blog 's Murdoc on Gorillaz.com, me and other fans of Gorillaz spoke about a movie on this band, from the begining to the end, where everybody play his role. In the end, 2D 's affred to the whales but it 's not his fault! I believe than he is intelligent even his dents on his head and he has a very big heart. Reply me if you want. Bye bye! |

my name isn't like other girls like nicole ,melissa etc. i was raised poorly.hmmm it would be ...nice to become a member in gorillaz if i could do anything i would just to join in.about been raised poor i also don't want to join caused im all...well you get the picture.i hate being in this stupid room .can gorillaz help,i wish i could sleep in plastic beach does anybody want to be there? hmmm... well the reason i came was about 2d. Im a 15 year old girl in Utah and to have you 2-D and of course Murdoc to come here would be the greatist thing in the world i love all your songs and it would be the greatest thing to meet you guys in person! I just love the Gorillaz and really hope that maybe you could send me somthin on my email it would be the greatist thing that would ever happen to me so here is my email Darkalice3454@yahoo.com i really hope that i can get a response back ^-^ and also to say i think noodles is the cutest thing ever and Russel is a great drumer
