D-Sides is an assortment of B-sides from the Gorillaz's multi-platinum sophomore album Demon Days, early demos and previously unreleased tracks compiled together for the first time.
D-Sides highlights include "Hong"Hong Kong,"Kong," the lush and lovely track recorded by Gorillaz for Warchild and the surprise hit of last year's Demon Days Live show (given an exclusive refit here with added strings), the dubbed-out collaboration with The Bees, "Bill"Bill Murray,"Murray," and the apocalyptic scum-pop of "We"We Are Happy Landfill."Landfill." "Stop"Stop The Dams"Dams" is another collaboration, this time with the Sugarcubes' Einar Orn, protesting against dam building in Iceland's wilderness. Demos "People""People" (which later became Demon Days single "DARE") and "Don't"Don't Get Lost in Heaven"Heaven" give a sneak peek into the band's creative process, while the Mandarin version of "Dirty"Dirty Harry"Harry" provides an insight into how Gorillaz might sound if they'd been born east of the Yangtze instead of deep in the wilds of Essex, while D-Sides' bonus CD of remixes includes reworkings by DFA, Junior Sanchez and Hot Chip.
A special edition of D-Sides will be available in a debossed glossy dual box, and will include two exclusive Jamie Hewlett prints, four of limited Gorillaz pins, four stickers and a Pazuzu patch. The track listing will be the same as the standard edition.
D-Sides follows the immensely popular G-Sides, a collection of B-sides and rarities from the band's debut album, Gorillaz.

than g-sides and all the songs were great.there werea few remix i was dissapointed with though.overall,this is a tiny bit better than demon days __________________________________________________ Best Song:i have a few:rock it,spitting out the demons,happy landfill,hong kong and hongkongaton best remix was either el manana metronomy remix,dirty harry schtung chinese remix or kids with guns (quiet village remix) Best Lyric:the world is very sexy,i loved it in my head i tried to be a charmer,got a bit hopeless instead. Also, my only other gripe is the lack of my favorite Phase Two remix, Dirty Harry (Chopper Remix). I was hoping it'd be on here.
