Dr. Wurzel ( Gorillaz antagonist) was first mentioned in rise of the ogre as a writer for the independant. He wrote a review on Gorillaz claiming that they were "a failed scam" and that "one day in 2003, damon albarn will wake up in the foetal position with shame of the memory!" No one knows what he really looks like as there is only one known picture of him but he is described by the few people that have ever met him as a chubby, man breasted, clown haired gonk of a man!!!!!
Still with a hatred for Gorillaz, Dr. Wurzel stole Muds's Winnebago with the key that came with the 1st Gorillaz CD. Consequently Murdoc had to take action he posted an advert on the website and said if anyone saw the Bago they should take pictures of it and send them in. The winnebago was never found, so Mrdoc just bRought a new one !!!!
In 2D interview for 19-2000 Wurzel is seen(well you don't see him but...) driving past them and throwing a can at Muds and as Murdoc puts it "Digging his own grave!"
Dr. Wurzel was rumoured to have a bootlegged version of Ghost-train and also posted the first picture of Gorillaz (or Gorilla as they were called back then!!) with 2D's ex-Girlfriend, Paula Cracker.
On Celebrity takedown there is a featurecalled Dr. Wurzel's Winnebago where he is driving it around the moon!?
This is Probably the last time you here the name Dr.wurzel although if something goes horribly wrong Murdoc's excuse is " I bet it's that Snivelling little prat Dr. Wurzel!" If you ever type his name on the forums, it becomes "Mr. ******.
