Once again, possibly a bit late, I want to hear opinions about the video for Feel Good Inc.
I loved the video for Feel Good Inc. I thought that it had a message, a deeper meaning. As the helicopters circle the tower to keep the inhabitants from escaping, Noodle sits on the windmill island. She is free, and I think she represents both freedom and hope. Inside the tower, Murdoc is surrounded by women, playing his base. Murdoc appears fully engrossed in the nightmare. It is his being, and seems like a paradise for him. 2D, however, is trapped inside the nightmare. Only able to see Noodle on the windmill island out of the grimy windows of the tower. At the end of the video, I think he is submitting to the nightmare, admitting defeat. He secludes himself in the back of the room, alone. One of the most powerful images of the video in my opinion is when 2D is shown, hands on the glass of the grimy window, sadly staring out at Noodle on the windmill island.
