a little bit about whats been going on recently! i dont know how many people have been checking gorillaz unofficial but there is a huge dispute going on with murdoc and ceri! he has even resorted to leaving creepy phone messgaes which are hilarous so please go here: to the bananaz site! also the movie is said to be coming out on dvd in june, however annoyingly aside from this there have been no updates on either 2d, russell or noodle and nothing on how the new album is going. damon said it was 80% done but that was three months ago. anywho. hopefully next time i post there wil lbe lots more to talk about! the meaning of adapt! first picture of phase three. during the radio one interview, this picture of murdoc was held up to the webcam. our first pic! thankfully by adapt i guess it just means different medias, cause this kind of looks erm.. watercolour, if you get what i mean. still murdoc yet a little older and a lot darker! also if anyone wants the download of the gorillaz demos or to read the transcript of the show, go to gorillaz unofficial which has everything!  1. damon albarn will be appearing on radio 1 on January 14th from 7pm to 9pm to play the new gorillaz demos and apparantly will have guests murdoc, 2d, noodle and russel. it was originally on the NME site (a music magazine in the UK) but was taken down for some reason. im sorry if you are not from England and your reading this, cause it probably means nothing to you, but to access radio one go to this site www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00gklmb this will go directly to the page with the damon albarn info. to listen to it on January 14th go to listen live (at the correct time of course). oh and info number two. the hellhole counter has started again. it may have something to do with the fact that damon says the album is 80% finished but who knows? we will just have to wait and see...again... | December 13, 2007 www.nytimes.com | Gorillaz collaborator Ike Turner dies at 76 Ike Turner collaborator to the Gorillaz song "Every Planet We Reach is Dead" of the Demon Days album, died on Demcember 12, 2007 in his home in San Marcos, California at the age of 76. Though it is unclear what caused his death at the time it is thought that he died of emphysemia. May Ike Turner Rest In Peace | ||
| Jaurary 1, 2008 www.gorillaz.com | Hellhole Timer Resets (Again) It's true that this isn't news one because it happened last year and two it wasn't in the news but i felt it should be heard. Anyway, as of January 1, 2008 at midnite the timer in the hellhole room in Kong Studios has reset. Will it end up with the disappointing sight of Murdoc rising out saying "I want your souls" or will it be something new maybe involving the locked door in the hellhole? Only time will tell. | January 7, 2008 www.gorillaz.com | Hell Hole Timer Information As most of you already know, the Hell Hole timer in the bowels of Kong has been reset as of January 1, 2008. Counting down in seconds, it would appear that the timer is set to complete it's countdown on February 10, 2008 (I did all of the conversions and added the days to today's date). If this is correct, which I believe it is, keep an eye out for something to happen on or around February 10. | ||

| October 2, 2008 | BREAKING NEWS (FOR REAL THIS TIME!!!!!!) so people of gorillaz wiki if you haven't heard yet PHASE 3 STARTS NOW!!!!!!!!!!! um..... anyway as i was saying the gorillaz have announced that they are starting work on the third album which ROCKS! back to the story jamie also stated that he was f***ing bored of drawing the gorillaz so he is going to revamp or "adapt" the bands four famous characters |
