Tattoos/piercings and other notable features: black inverted cross on right shoulder; black skull and crossed roses with inscription "Born to Die"; the word "Helios" tattooed on his lower back (this refers to the sun charioteer of Greek and Roman mythology, implying that Murdoc believes the sun shines out of his arse); red octopus on the inside of his right forearm; seven deadly sins tattooed across his back during a stint in prison (this claim has never been proven through any pictures). And a black and white cross on his left shoulder. Many of Murdoc's tattoos are very questionable, as they constantly vary.The black inverted cross on Murdoc's shoulder and red (occasionally black) octopus were more common in Jamie's artwork during phase one, and in the video of Feel Good Inc. no tattoos were shown at all and his left hand pinky painted red.
Trademark look: crooked nose from multiple (8) fractures; wears a gold inverted cross; excessively long tongue; tendency to go shirtless, and occasionally trouserless.
During Phase 1, Murdoc was often seen in his usual attire of a grey sweater and blue denim trousers with 8-inch high heels, whereas later on he was seen wearing a purple-scarlet designer cape (reversible) and boots more often than his inverted cross necklace.

Personality: Murdoc is the most remarkable phenomenon on the Dark Side of music over the last twenty years. The third superstar of Stoke besides Robbie Williams and Slash, he's the perfect combination of good and evil. Although the way Murdoc looks and behaves disgusts most fans, time after time he reveals uncommon personality qualities that give us something to think about: is he really who we think he is? His defects are more than compensated by his talent.

 Artist Biography
Classic Metal Fan Murdoc Niccals was raised by a single parent through which he learned stage play and singing and within time became a skilled bassist. He recently returned safely from hell after rescuing fellow band mate, Noodle, as stated in his review of ,"Monkey: Journey to the West".
