Dec 20 2007, 4:42 PM EST I've enjoyed listening to Clint Eastwood and Fell Good Inc, before I got hooked to Gorillaz, but I never actually took the time to buy their CD's and listen to the rest of their music...until one faithful day in the beginning of October, I was watching Linkin Park videos on Youtube (I was bored so I decided to enjoy some music by my then favourite band) I then decided to watch some of the Gorillaz classics for no reason, just felt like seeing summink I haven't seen in a while...then I saw Clint Eastwood and Feel Good, Inc, then Dare, then 19/2000(Soulchild remix) (hey i heard this song before), then Dirty Harry(wait a minute I heard this one before, too), then El Manana(sad video, made me respect Noodle A LOT after seeing this video)...."DAM!!! These guys are good!!! What have I been missing???" I bought Gorillaz and Demon Days that same day, one of the best buys I ever made...:)......or worst depends how you look at it ;)..... 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jun 29 2008, 5:14 PM EDT let's seee...hmmm...:tic toc tic toc: yeah it all dates back to their masive booty shakin' years when they were hiting it BIG! I was like soooo naive i mean i never noticed them...and this one time when i came to Mexico i was whatching this talk show THERE'S where i saw 4 the very 1st time Gorillaz, they aired the vid. 19/2000 i mean i like it! yessss! i was thinking "that's one cool cartoon" but nothing more. i didn't even remember their name! And then there wuz (and still is) this show were they would always do a "girls dancing in bikini" music vid. and their all time song?? FEEL GOOD INC! the song had a nice sound to me but i never took much atention towards it Any whooo. via another prime time show they showed the DARE video! i luved it, sooo brill! yeh i kinda remember a lot of talk about them in tv...DARE was heard a lot in the radio. but yet again it failled to call my atention so far to sumarize this i was hearing them from the start but i gave a shit 'bout it...when i saw their videos i thought that THEY were the cartoon version of the real guys that showd up...nivar could remember their bloody names Til 2006 i met this girl who liked Gorillaz, and from there i rebegan to meet gori. & made me a fan so here i am now! Jul 5 2008, 12:09 PM EDT actually to begin i thought it was going to be like one of those little kiddie bands so i promised to myself i would not watch it but one day i changed the channel to like mtv or summthink and saw Clint Eastwood and i was like wow how stupid am i.and i've got to go to plenty of their gigs especially in the early days and i have quite a little collection i have the apex tapes,Gorillazish Mix,The Roadkill Mixtape and of course Demon days,Gorillaz,G-sides,D-sides,Demon days, and laika come home. Do you find this valuable? |

Jul 6 2008, 9:40 AM EDT Well...my childhood was really sad. I ended up hating and being quite angry for a very long time. People picked on me cos I was different. I didnt really like anything I was picked on for liking different things or whatever. So I was at school and I heard this song...which was feel good inc by the Gorillaz ..its unique blend of music and the art...it really lifted my spirit. I started to like stuff. I swear, without them I would be dead by now.Feel good inc has been my number one song since. I also found out who I was. I seriously didn't know who Keeley was. Do you find this valuable? |

Jul 6 2008, 11:34 AM EDT well.. not too far,, in one november.. i was in front of the TV (like everyday) and then i heard feel good inc. and i think: "hey! thats the cartoon band!!" i can remember a lot because when i heard clint eastwood for 1º time i was 5!! then i went to the comp.. i was searching about tthemm and then i go to youtube and search videos then i download the music an the more and more music!!! and then i was ready!! i have became a fan!!! Do you find this valuable? |

Jul 11 2008, 1:32 AM EDT I was at my cousin's house,and there was this music video(Feel Good inc).I liked it so much.It was cool.I kept on seeing it and seeing it.Than this Gorillaz bite.It was jump the gut.I just thought they looked familar,so i just kept watching it.I was trying to look for the music video.I saw that.Than a few more days I saw the ad for Demon days.I knew that the person that was singing.But when I got it it wasn't the person.I was listening in my car and try to find the certain song.I thought it was November Has Come.But it wasnt. I was trying to find it,so I looked in the booklet for the lyrics,but they were pictures.I found the picture and I saw it so I counted the pictures to see what number it was.Number 6. I listened to it.I heard dare on that ad and I was trying to find it,. A few minutes late i found i t listened to it and liked it.I looked Gorillaz up on the internet,the pics.I took a few quizzes on which member i am.I wanted it to be 2d.Back then i thought Noodle was a boy.But i kept on getting Noodle.I didnt want her.Than i looked at the bio and figured out who they are.I liked 2d as my fave character.Btw i knew right away murdoc was evil. Cuz of his looks.I figured out Noodle was a girl.I wanted to be her,i was her for halloween.I liked to pretend to be her.Yea it was cool.Now I figured out about Gorillaz toys and I want them so badly.I found out about this place and I just thought Jamie Hewlett was a person from Gorillaz or something.Now I know Everything about Gorillaz! Do you find this valuable? |

I remember I was up late watching MTV after hours [when mtv was still MUSIC television] and they played the Clint Eastwood video. I remember thinking, "Whoa, what is this? This sounds so.. awesome!" So, I instantly looked them up and became a big fan from that moment forward. Seven years later, they are still my favorite band! Do you find this valuable? |

Aug 9 2008, 12:49 PM EDT well...i was about 6 years when i heard gorillaz for the first time.it was the song CLINT EASTWOOD.since then im hooked.in the beginning i was opsessed but in a while i kinda forgot gorillaz.but now again i just adore them.so i can pretty much say that i was a huge fan of gorillaz since they exist.im glad of it. cuz I AINT HAPPY IM FEELIN GLAD!! lol.x) Do you find this valuable? |
